The GreenComp4Hosts project is pleased to announce the release of its 3rd official newsletter, showcasing importante milestones achieved in recent months and reinforcing the project´s commitment to promoting green skills in the hospitality and tourism sector.🌳🌿

This latest edition focuses on the theme “Learn, Share, Act: Workshops, MOOC and Awareness Raising at GreenComp4Hosts”, highlighting the successful implementation of workshops delivered by the partnership, the official launch of the GreenComp4Hosts MOOC, and a series of awareness-raising initiatives aimed at students, trainers and professionals.

One of the major highlights of this newsletter is the launch of the GreenComp4Hosts online platform and MOOC,designed to support the development of sustainability competences aligned with the European GreenComp Framework. The platform offers accessible, innovative learning opportunities for learners and professionals working in hotel management and tourism, fostering environmentally responsible practices across the sector.

The newsletter also reports on the engagement of tourism and hospitality students during dissemination sessions held in September at ENAIP Isola della Scala and Verona (Italy). During these sessions, students actively explored the project’s training content and digital platform, demonstrating strong interest in sustainability as a core pillar of the future of tourism.🌳🌿

Through this edition, GreenComp4Hosts reinforces a key message: sustainability in tourism is not optional — it is essential. By combining education, digital innovation, and collaboration, the project continues to contribute to a more resilient, inclusive, and environmentally responsible tourism ecosystem in Europe.
