On November 13th and 14th, the GreenComp4Hosts (GC4H) partnership gathered for its second transnational project meeting in the picturesque city of Verona, Italy. The meeting was hosted by the ENAIP Veneto Vocational Education and Training (VET) Centre of Verona, a hub for hospitality education. Partners from Portugal, Spain, Greece, and France came together to discuss the results of the research phase (WP2) and collaboratively plan the next steps of the project.

The hospitality provided by ENAIP’s Verona Centre greatly enriched the meeting. During the event, a teacher and four students from the hospitality course shared valuable insights into VET tourism training in Italy. They offered a firsthand perspective on their internship experiences and highlighted how these practical learning opportunities are essential in preparing future professionals with the latest skills and knowledge.

In addition to the productive discussions, partners took the opportunity to explore the charming city of Verona, renowned for its rich history and stunning architecture. Whether taking a leisurely stroll or a refreshing morning run, the city’s beauty provided the perfect backdrop for further collaboration and bonding.

The Verona meeting marked an important milestone in the GreenComp4Hosts project, but the work doesn’t stop here! With the valuable insights gained, all partners are now set to continue their efforts back home, putting their plans into action.

Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting journey toward enhancing green competencies in the hospitality industry!

And don’t forget the next meeting will take place in Greece in 2025!
